THE STORY
BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO LIVED IT.
Second Mission Project was created from lived experience, not theory. Founded by Chris Vasilakis, a U.S. Marine combat veteran, it started with a hard truth. After leaving the military, Chris lost structure, discipline, and direction. He saw it in himself and in the people around him, good people stuck looking backward, frustrated, disconnected, and drifting without purpose.
He chose a different path. He rebuilt his life, found success in business, and began mentoring people on mindset, discipline, and growth. But the deeper he got involved in veteran communities, the more he saw the same pattern, complaint, isolation, and a lack of direction. That’s where this came from. Not charity for the sake of it, but a real need to solve something that’s costing lives.
Second Mission Project exists to help veterans rediscover purpose after service. Because purpose isn’t optional, it’s everything.
